 I was born and raised on Long Island, NY.  For several years now we have called Central Florida Home.  I have always believed that it was critical to be a part of the community you live in.  One of my favorite saying is "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem"  I am not arrogant in thinking that I am the solution, I just know that if we work together to build or change a community we will be successful.  I also believe  "Today is God's gift to me, Let it blossom and grow into a thing of beauty" .  Each of us have resources within our selves that most of us don't even know exist, so I think it is extremely important that we encourage each other by acknowledging  their gifts.  There is someone who needs our kindness, understanding, knowledge or just a good laugh.
 
      I promote Sam's Club by being an active member of the organizations that serve our community.   Sam's Club / Walmart are a huge contributor to our communities, we provide employment, products at an affordable price, etc.   Our Good Works program supports Education, Workforce Development, Environmental Sustainability, Health and Wellness.  I know that this sounds like an advertisement.  But, the programs we support throughout the communities represent  "our culture" .  Through the Walmart foundation we support local, state and national organizations that provide opportunities in the communities we serve.  Sam Walton, our founder's philosophy is "Operate globally, give back locally"   That is my job, and it is my privilege to represent Sam's Club in this manor.  I do believe in our culture and I definitely understand the importance of being a good community partner.
